Recycled Content vs. Recyclable Content
Whats the difference? Well there's a big difference between the two but sometimes easily confused!
Recyclable Content
First and foremost all of our carboard is 100% recyclable. The other plus when looking at corrugated material is that it comes from a 100% renewable resource. Carboard is also biodegradable.
Recycled Content
All of our cardboard has a percentage of recycled content. The challenge with using recycled content is when you hit a certain percentage of recycled content you will start to lose strength within the card. Our standard board used for the majority of our boxes is approximately 60%. When it comes to folding carton we start looking at about 20% - 40% recycled content.
